CPV Marketing

Before Getting Into CPV/PPV Marketing, We Need to Understand CPV/PPV Marketing…

CPV stands for Cost Per View and PPV stands for Pay Per View, these 2 Marketing strategies are so similar it’s best to group them together.  CPV/PPV is the kind of online advertising where someone gets a pop up on their screen, when typing either a specific keyword or URL they are searching for within the CPV/PPV Advertising Network.

CPV/PPV marketing works by someone having a piece of ad-ware installed on their computer.  Ad-ware is part of a software (usually free game, antivirus program, etc.) that a user installs on the computer, but is installed with the users full consent, in exchange for the free software.

When that user either uses a certain keyword phrase for searching on Google, typing in a URL or visiting websites of a specific theme, the user gets an ad pop up on the screen.

When the user with this kind of ad-ware visits cnn.com or msnbc.com (and you are targeting those specific url’s), all you pay for showing an ad to the people visiting those websites is what the CPV nework wants you to pay, which usually isn’t much more than $0.015 – 0.004 per pop up.

Also when the user visits certain keywords you are targeting within your CPV/PPV Campaigns with keyword targeting, those users receive your ad as well.
